The above piece 'Sorapis' (20 x 30cm, Oil Pastel on Paper, 2025) was inspired by my recent trip to the Dolomites: the colours and striking landscapes were BEGGING to be drawn, and there's something magical about using pastels to capture the textures of the mountains, the layers merging together in a rich deliciousness.
In this oil pastel class, we will go through the basics of oil pastels, how to mix your colours & achieve beautiful layers in a 2 hour session. I will be there to give you 1-on-1 artistic guidance. Come solo, bring a friend or family member, everybody is welcome!
Bring your own photo to work from, or choose one of my photographs from my recent travels to inspire you!
All materials included: oil pastels & paper.
