Oil Pastels Class

The above piece was inspired by my recent trip to the Dolomites, a place where nature is dominant and the landscapes were endless. The beautiful thing about oil pastels is the ability to capture texture in very simple ways: by working the pastel into paper with varying levels of pressure, you can achieve great depth and marks that give the effect of natural forms.

In this oil pastel class, we will go through how to put this technique, and more, into action, guided by me the whole class, to leave with a piece of artwork you will be proud of!

I believe everybody has the ability to be creative, and its through these classes that I aim to show you what you can achieve as an individual. They are designed for anyone with any level of artistic experience, and we will spend the 2 hour session working beside one another, sharing this creative space.

All materials included: oil pastels, sketching pencils, paper, photography to work from.
