In this watercolour class, we will go through the basics and develop techniques you can apply to turn any image into a beautiful representative painting:

• colour mixing

• how to carefully layer your paints

• choosing your brushes

• different effects you can achieve with watercolours

  
  

  I will be there to give you 1-on-1 artistic guidance throughout!

We will begin the class with a demonstration on how to build a painting using the defining features of an image, and break down the structure into simple sections, following the natural lines and curves of your image to establish a composition, before building in detail and colour.

I'm a strong believer that anyone can be an artist, and the simple steps we work on in this class will allow you to develop your own personal painting practice. Watercolours are always something I return to to capture moments and landscapes, and I absolutely love working with them on my travels!

All materials included: watercolour paints, tape, brushes & watercolour paper.
